Established in January 2005, Shining Light Baptist Church was founded by several families of Union County, in the Blairsville, GA community. Pastor Timothy L. Mason is our founding and current pastor. The church began with 32 charter members. Although our church is new, we are dedicated to bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, baptizing them, and establishing membership  in our church family. Furthermore, we desire to develop them into Christlike maturity, equip them for their ministry in the local church, and life mission in the world, in order to glorify and magnify God’s name.
